Why A is correct
33 CFR §83.27(b)(iii) specifies that a RAM vessel making way must show a masthead light or lights, sidelights, and a sternlight in addition to the red-white-red cluster. Sidelights alone, or masthead and sternlight alone, do not satisfy the rule.
