Visibility of Lights
TL;DR
Required minimum visibility ranges by vessel length: 50 m+ shows masthead at 6 nm, sidelights at 3 nm, sternlight at 3 nm, towing yellow at 3 nm, all-round at 3 nm. Smaller vessels have proportionally shorter ranges.
