Delaware Captain's License

OUPV (Six-Pack) and Master credentials for charter operators in Delaware.

TL;DR

Delaware does not issue its own captain's license — the credential is the federal USCG OUPV or Master license. The nearest USCG Regional Examination Center is New York, NY. Most Delaware charter captains run OUPV Near-Coastal for canyon trips out of Indian River Inlet. The nearest REC is New York.

  3. Submit your application package to the National Maritime Center.

  5. Complete the TWIC card application and CPR/First Aid certification before the credential is issued.
